Inclusive PE eLearning module

This course aims to increase your confidence in delivering inclusive PE and help you create outstanding inclusive PE experiences for every pupil regardless of their ability.

Course details

Across this two-hour eLearning course you will:

  • Understand why inclusion is important for all your pupils.
  • Develop an understanding of different inclusion approaches, including the Activity Inclusion Model and STEP Tool.
  • Learn about the importance of effective communication.
  • Explore how you can maximise opportunities for youth voice in your delivery.
  • Reflect on your current practice and develop an action plan to embed your learning.

Who is it suitable for?

This course will help practitioners working in schools, colleges and other educational settings include pupils with Special Education Needs and Disabilities (SEND) – including teachers, teaching assistants, lunchtime supervisors and trainee teachers.

2 hours.

Accreditation

Upon completion of this course, learners receive 2.5 CIMSPA CPD points.
